Overview
Excerpt from Family Chronicles: Section 1. A: The Temple Family
I have called this volume Section I. a because in chronological order it should precede the Chapman MSS., whereas Section I. (Bleckleys and Springalls) should follow Section 3 .in chronological order, though it was the first section to be printed. During the Civil Wars registers were badly kept, and connecting links are often missing. I have been persuaded to print the Temple Article, though the information is not yet complete, in the hopes that some of the debatable points may find a solution when the difficulties are more widely known.
