A pre-putt routine helps you stay nice and relaxed so you can make the best stroke possible. Tiger's pre-putt routine:


1. He replaces his ball after marking it and walks halfway to the hole to see the second half of the putt and how it breaks - if at all.


2. He then steps back and does a 360 degree walk around to view the putt from all perspectives and stops where he wants to take in the details for whether it's up hill or downhill, left to right or right to left.


4. During his walk around, he looks in the golf hole studying the grain of the green and takes the grain into consideration.


5. After his walk around, he has a feel and a very good idea on how the putt will break.


6. Once he feels he has the line, pace and feel of the putt, he takes his stance and takes two practice strokes and looks up at the hole as he finishes the second practice stroke.


7. He steps up and gets comfortable and places his putter behind the ball aligning it to where he wants it to start out.


8. He takes one more look at the hole.


9.He hits it. BONUS: Exercises and Drills are included so you will be able to incorporate their techniques, advice, and thoughts into your golf game and improve your consistency.
