Overview
The Boxcar Children are thrilled to be on vacation at Yellowstone National Park. They are excited by the prospect of seeing buffalo, Old Faithful, and -- just maybe -- a bear!

Exploring the hiking trails around Yellowstone is fun, especially Lost Cabin Trail. According to legend, a group of miners left a sack of gold nuggets in a cabin after they had to spend a winter there. The cabin has never been found, but Grandfather's friend has an old map that might show where it is. The Alden's can't wait to start looking for the cabin -- and the gold! But suddenly, the trails are dosed because of bear activity, and then the map disappears. Could someone be trying to keep the Boxcar Children away from the trail?
