More About Joshua by Max Anders; Kenneth Gangel

Overview
Joshua is an account of a 600-year-old promise kept. When God called Abraham to leave his country and his people, He promised to make his descendents a great nation and to give them a place to live. In God's mighty deliverance of Israel from Egypt, He created a nation. Over a period of 40 years of wandering in the wilderness, He began to educate that nation. And now, through His servant Joshua, God was ready to give to Israel the land promised.

Chapters 15 tell how God provided entrance into the land. Chapters 6-12 narrate the military campaigns that secured the land. Chapters 13-24 show how the land was divided among the twelve tribes.

Kenneth Gangel's commentary clearly explains the biblical text and gives teachers and preachers the tools needed to interpret and apply Joshua for today.
