Richard LaGravenese directed and wrote the screenplay for this big-screen adaptation of Jason Robert Brown's off-Broadway musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS. Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan star as Cathy and Jamie, a young couple who clash as his career as a novelist begins to skyrocket, while she struggles to make a name for herself as an actress. This all-sung movie skips around in time, contrasting the couple's happier times with their saddest fights, and their hardest individual plights. THE LAST FIVE YEARS screened at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival.
