Reviews:
"[T]he animation here is reasonably polished....LEAP! puts a lot of stock in ballet dancers’ ability to defy gravity..." - 08/28/2017 A.V. Club

"[S]ome of the animation is striking and near photorealistic....Fanning does give a charming voice performance, and the dancing is lovely to watch..." - 08/24/2017 Los Angeles Times

"Elle Fanning does wonderful voice work as 11-year-old Felicie....The anachronistic pop songs actually work quite nicely with the scenes of classical dancing, and will most likely help hold the attention of the little ones." - 08/24/2017 Chicago Sun-Times

"[With] a few virtuoso technical coups: in particular, soaring aerial flights across rural France and fin de siècle Paris, both rendered with loving attention to textured architectural detail and shifting shades of golden daylight." - 03/29/2017 Variety
