"[T]he film has a nasty edge, a visceral mean streak, that’s genuinely bracing." -- Grade: B - 03/23/2017 A.V. Club

"LIFE is efficiently constructed to unsettle audiences....Swedish director Espinosa is something of a genre specialist with a real sense of how stories should unfold on screen." - 03/24/2017 Los Angeles Times

3 stars out of 5 -- "[Gyllenhaal] does his slightly weird shtick, but keeps his doctor David Jordan several shades more likeable than Lou in NIGHTCRAWLER." - 03/24/2017 Empire

"LIFE's a thrill when it’s smart..." - 03/18/2017 Variety

4 stars out of 5 -- "Jake Gyllenhaal, playing a jaded medic who no longer feels he belongs on Earth, has a brooding, soulful quality; the electricity between his character and Rebecca Ferguson’s safety officer crackles satisfyingly." - 03/26/2017 The Guardian
