Brown (Lucky in Love) delivers a frothy, mostly sweet contemporary western romance with her latest. Artist Sage Presley fights her way through a blinding snowstorm to get to her grandmother’s Texas ranch, only to encounter quite the surprise: cowboy Creed Riley, the ranch’s prospective new owner. Sage had no idea that Creed would be in residence, but he’s been given ample warning, and his purchase hinges on the condition that Sage retain the right to live on the property. Sparks quickly fly between the two but they vehemently deny the attraction; Sage is an orphan used to solitude and Riley has recently broken up with his fiancée. Readers will page quickly through this fun holiday tale to see how they make the most of their hilariously awkward Christmas together. Agent: Erin Niumata, Folio Literary Management.
