Bethenny Ever After star Frankel puts her mouth where her money is with this list of rules for getting what you want out of life, while remaining true to yourself and your goals. After early disappointments, Frankel developed 10 rules to guide her own life. Some are genre staples—"Break the Chain" and "Act on It." Others are more unique, such as "All Roads Lead to Rome," wherein the author outlines the "great mistake" of her BethennyBakes effort by way of assuring that "as long as you are working hard and doing your best...everything you do will eventually get you where you want to go." Other rules include always being prepared for networking opportunities, acting on available opportunities, and distinguishing yourself from the pack, and come full of advice about ignoring "Money," "Desperation," "Truth," and other "Noises" that will likely plague success strivers. In relaying her rules, Frankel also shares an extensive biography of her experiences in business, television, relationships, and family, resulting in a familiar but intensely personal guide that, yes, stands apart from the pack.
