Light’s fourth vehicular board book (after Trucks Go, Trains Go, and Diggers Go) is every bit the sensory experience as its predecessors, combining expressive paintings of planes, helicopters, and other airships with sound effects that beg to be shouted and growled. The extreme horizontal trim size is, once again, ideal for conveying a sense of movement as a fighter jet goes “ssssssssswwooooooossshhhhh,” leaving a fiery trail of red and black squiggles behind, and a purple blimp slides between stormy, purple clouds. Up to age 2. Agent: Linda Pratt, Wernick & Pratt. (Aug.)
