A renegade priest-turned-detective is faced with the mysterious serial killings of priests and nuns where the trademark of the murderer is the black rosary he leaves behind.
A maniacally angry killer begins a one man vendetta against the Catholic Church, brutally slaying several priests and nuns. The police are baffled, the community frustrated. But someone may know who the murderer is. A man came to Father Koesler's confessional booth and said some things that made him suspect the stranger could be guilty of committing the heinous crimes. As a Catholic clergyman, Koesler is forbidden to reveal things made known to him during the holy sacrament of Confession. But his conscience won't let him sit still, so the daring priest sets out to snare the murderer himself.
