Overview

There is darkness in the kingdom of Malum. The entire land has been plunged into eternal night by a powerful curse. The sun never rises nor sets on King Adrian's domain.

Adrian sees that darkness as a symbol of his fears. He desperately wants to be a good ruler, but he knows that there is a dark, powerful magic growing inside of him. His mother, Sibylla, wants him to accept his legacy and the evil abilities she possesses. Adrian would do anything to avoid this doomed destiny. He escapes from the kingdom and is branded a traitor.

Adrian flees to Malum's greatest enemy kingdom, Draconia. While Malum has always existed in darkness, Draconia sits in the brightest light. The sun never sets on Princess Rayne's homeland.

When Adrian meets the tempestuous Rayne, the two find they have a lot in common. Both dream of dragons, the extinct creatures that once formed powerful bonds with special humans. Adrian and Rayne reject their families' rules and team up to break the curse on their homes. In this young-adult adventure, the two will have to not only believe in each other but believe in the impossible if they want to help their people.
