ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Neil McAleer is a writer with publications in the areas of popular science, fiction, and biography. He is the author of The Mind-Boggling Universe and The Cosmic Mind-Boggling Book, as well as the Robert S. Ball award-winning The Omni Space Almanac. He has published articles in numerous magazines including Smithsonian's Air and Space, Popular Science, OMNI Magazine, and Discover. In addition, he was a close friend of Arthur C. Clarke's—and his personal interviews with Clarke over the years add considerably to the depth of his biographical work.
