Adrian Mitchell is a powerful angel leading an elite Special Ops unit of Seraphim. His task is to punish the Fallen-angels who have become vampires-and command a restless pack of indentured lycans. But Adrian has suffered his own punishment for becoming involved with mortals- losing the woman he loves again and again. Now, after nearly two hundred years, he has found her-Shadoe-her soul once more inhabiting a new body, with no memory of him. And this time, he won't let her go.

Angels, vampires, and lycans battle their emotions and each other in Day's Renegade Angels paranormal romance trilogy launch. When Lindsay Gibson flirts with Adrian Mitchell in a Phoenix airport, she doesn't realize that Adrian is a seraphim, or angel, tasked with keeping vampires and lycans in line on Earth. Adrian immediately recognizes that Lindsay contains the soul of Shadoe, the woman he has loved for centuries, and something seems to be different from Shadoe's previous incarnations. With attacks and unrest on all sides, Adrian fears he may lose his love for good this time, along with his wings. A steamy relationship between Adrian and Lindsay isn't enough to overcome the garbled mythology that keeps the larger story from ever taking off. (Oct.)
