Boomerang : Baby Boomer Humor From Today's Perspective
by Paul Bourassa

Overview -
I, for one, am pleased to be associated with any group that has the name "baby" in it. Even if it is the Baby Boom. Just think of those poor X-Gen'ers. It already sounds like they're goners. Yes, there are those things about getting older that we'd rather not think about. So-let's not Instead, let's look at the humorous aspects of this generation. After all, we're the ones who came up with Laugh-In, Communes, Flower Children, and Nixon. So how serious can it possibly get? What's happening in our lives now, for the most part, is not new in the great cycle of life. How we are viewing, reacting to, and making these situations our own, is new and in many cases, just downright amusing. This is what I would like to chronicle for our generation and the poor folks who will try to follow in our footsteps. Wouldn't it be neat if our greatest legacy to civilization is a bunch of smiles? That's the idea for this book. A chronicle of craziness that is the hallmark of our generation now. We'll leave seriousness to someone else, some other time-mostly. After all, we're just babies.
