Come Tell Me How You Lived
by Charles E. Moore

Overview -
After rising in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia and North Carolina, the Tennessee River flows in a southwesterly direction through Tennessee making a bend to the west in Alabama and touching Mississippi. The river then turns to the north through Tennessee again and finally into Kentucky where it joins the Ohio River.

For thousands of years, Native Americans lived in and around the river valley in great numbers. Even though lakes from the Tennessee Valley Authority dams have covered the evidence left at many of the Indian sites, this book attempts to show how these first Americans lived.

Numerous pictures are shown to help illustrate their long and interesting story.
