Theatrical release: December 22, 2000. Filmed on location in Toronto, Canada, and New Orleans, Louisiana. Actress Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick is better known as pop singer Vitamin C. Director Patrick Lussier is best known for having edited all three of Wes Craven's SCREAM films. The role of Dracula was not cast until two days before filming was to begin. Actor Gerard Butler's role previous to this film was as Attila the Hun in a TV miniseries.
