Dust & Ashes
Overview
When Lunion's mother is sworn in as the regional senator of their home planet Nalia, he dares to believe things might finally improve. But that hope is short lived. Almost immediately humans arrive with their typical flair-loud, invasive, clutching their guns with promises of trade and cooperation. To Lunion, they bring nothing but disruption, and he quickly grows to hate everything they represent.
Luke, the son of the crude United States President, expected his diplomatic visit to Earth-2102 to be strange, maybe even unsettling, having imagined alien creatures with purple skin, speaking incomprehensible languages. He pictured a world entirely unlike his own. Instead, he meets a boy who looks no different than him, speaking his language, and surpasses him in ways Luke can't ignore.
As two boys from different worlds collide, their clashing perspectives threaten more than just their fragile connection. With political tensions rising and their families at the center of it all, their relationship could shape the future of an entire planet...for better or for worse.
