In the early 1900's Ms. Elizabeth Barker purchases the property from Hansen and builds the Skerryvore Hotel. Again fast forward to the late 1960's when Bert Taylor acquires the hotel and the property. Bert teamed up with Frank Robinson and through the use of checkerboard subdividing (now illegal) the Ojibway Estates was created, later to morph into being known as Skerryvore.
