
Overview
Director and co-writer Andrew Slater's documentary explores the musical legacy of Laurel Canyon: a mountainous neighbourhood in the Hollywood Hills region that became a countercultural hub in the 1960s and early 1970s. With archival footage and insights from contemporary musicians, it pays tribute to the enduring influence of West Coast music icons such as The Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield, and The Mamas and the Papas.
