How can he marry into the family that killed their cousin Lachlan? He doesn't care that Lachlan had stolen another man's wife to claim her as his own. He'll do everything in his power to keep the newlyweds apart. Fiona tries to fit in at Dunnottar, and Logan is a supportive husband, but numerous close calls and a grave wound suffered by Logan, will put many strains on their marriage. Will their problems be too big to save what started as a nightmare marriage? Although this is a stand alone novel, many of the characters were introduced to the series in 'The McCabe's Books 1-3.'
