Synopsis:
The inimitable Mary Martin stars as Peter Pan in this television recording of the hit Broadway musical.
This fantasy begins on the night the forever-young sprite enters the nursery of Wendy, John and Michael Darling and whisks them away to Never-Never land. There, Peter, who so dearly longs for a mother, begs Wendy to take care of him and the other "lost boys", unwanted children who have come with Peter to this magical country.
But not everything is wonderful in Never-Never land -- and the biggest danger of all comes from Captain Hook, the vicious pirate who longs to tear Peter from limb to limb...

Some of the most well-known songs in this musical are: "I've Got a Crow", "I Won't Grow Up", "Never Never Land" and "I'm Flying".
The Broadway show premiered in 1954, starring Mary Martin. The choreographer for the theatrical version was Jerome Robbins.
