Synopsis:
In director John Badham's POINT OF NO RETURN, a beautiful street junkie is transformed into a professional assassin by a government agency, but even as her life turns around, she has second thoughts about her deadly occupation. This is a remake of the French film LA FEMME NIKITA.

Theatrical release: March 19, 1993. Shot on location in Los Angeles, California; Washington, D.C.; and New Orleans, Louisiana. POINT OF NO RETURN is based on the 1990 French film LA FEMME NIKITA, written and directed by Luc Besson and starring Anne Parillaud. The films LA FEMME NIKITA and POINT OF NO RETURN inspired a TV series, LA FEMME NIKITA, which premiered on the USA cable network in early 1997. Director John Badham, makes a cameo appearance as a room-service waiter. The director of photography, Michael Watkins, makes a cameo appearance as the last guard at the gate during the escape.
