Overview
Peggy McDougall has watched her brothers experience adventure, find love, and achieve their dreams. As much as she loves her home on the Highlands, she searches to find her own destiny -- while also avoiding the neighboring Rory MacTavish, with whom she was once infatuated. The son of the MacTavish chieftain, Rory knows he is a flawed man with past indiscretions that plague his reputation. He struggles to change, but when he begins to desire the sister of his closest friends and business partners, he knows he must stay away at all costs -- for she is the one woman whose friendship is too valuable to risk. A journey to Glasgow brings Peggy and Rory ever closer together, despite Peggy's fears that Rory will revert to his old ways. As much as they try to fight their growing attraction to one another, destiny seems to be telling them that, perhaps, they were meant for one another. They must only decide to accept their fate
