At the beginning of this poetry collection, I arrived in the northern region of the UK. I was searching for my place amidst the heavy snow, darkness, and cold. Even though London is home to a wealth that cannot be ignored in the world, the UK is still a country where it's easy to feel depressed. The winter here is cold, and the daylight hours are short. The sun always seems to lack the motivation to rise, and I stay in the cold and musty room together with the sun. Perhaps because of all these factors, for a long time during my university days, the second hand of my life clock seemed to stop. Thus, as part of my self-rescue efforts, in my poems, I set my anchor points and record the stories of my growth as a foreigner in a foreign land.
