Nizar Qabbani wrote much of what the kingdom of poetry and language bestowed upon him and us, and he was faithful to himself, and to himself alone, in everything he wrote, becoming the free, accomplished, prolific poet in more than one field. On the occasion of the centenary of his birth, we honor his memory by publishing three poetry collections selected by theme. In this collection, introduced by Arab singing star Kazem Al-Saher, we address what Nizar said in poetry and what the Arab world echoed in melody after him.
