Ibrahim Nasrallah works on a sensitive issue: body violation, fully activating it, and forms of dealing with women as one of the artistic justifications for creating a novel text with its distinction, solidity, and high narrative quality for which Nasrallah is known as a novelist. Three female characters move in this novel, but the novel condenses fifty years of fluctuations experienced by Palestinians outside their homeland, from before the Nakba year until the mid-nineties of the last century. But the main thing occupying every page of this novel is the idea of rape, in narrative atmospheres capable of firmly gripping readers... and an atmosphere of intensity, resentment, and revolution that sometimes makes one feel unable to catch their breath. An enjoyable novel in the artistic and aesthetic sense of the word, enjoyable for those characters that give us the feeling of sanctifying and loving life, enjoyable for those women who have no equal, enjoyable for this unbearable longing for homeland, enjoyable just to read about those who lived and died without their homeland's soil embracing them.
