American Icarus
Overview
The world has done away with dictators, presidents, and prime ministers. Serving in their place are members of a bureaucratic confederacy referred to as "The Council". Each nation's delegate is a figure from history who acts on behalf of their nation while working towards their main objective: achieving world peace. Uncle Sam, the delegate of the United States, faces opposition from The Council at every turn, and left with little choice, he sends his soldiers to war with the goal of preventing the corrupt delegate, Adolf Hitler, from seizing control of the continent of Antarctica. An American civilian by the name of Nigel Acres is drafted into war and forced to fight for a country he wants nothing to do with. Knowing the consequence for desertion, he begrudgingly leaves his family behind and prepares himself to do battle against the German forces.
