The Art of Learning : Fundamentals for Infants and Toddlers
Overview
I am a dad to a beautiful set of twins and husband to my loving late wife. I know firsthand the importance of helping children reach developmental milestones. I have experienced the joy of teaching my children shapes, colors, holidays, modes of transportation, sports and much more. The lessons they learned set the foundation for their growth and development. I hope my book does the same for you and your family. My name is Matthew Stokes, and I am a Chicago native, painter, decorator, and artist. For several years, I have lived and raised my family in the Windy City. For more than 10 years, I was a courier and an advisor at Illinois Action for Children, which is a catalyst for organizing, developing, and supporting strong families and powerful communities where children matter most. While there, I learned the significance and fundamentals of child development. I strongly believe that all children have the right to learn and grow, which led me to write this book. And I hope this book inspires children to enjoy getting to know fundamentals through coloring, drawing, writing, and reading.
