Movie Reviews

Reviews:
3 stars out of 4 -- "The tone of this supernatural melodrama is decidedly serious and somber..." - 03/03/2017 RogerEbert.com

"As in GROUNDHOG DAY, FREAKY FRIDAY or any number of supernaturally inflected comedies, a crazy, never-explained premise provides the framework for a sincerely felt plea for kindness and understanding." - 03/02/2017 Los Angeles Times

"Deutch keeps us in Sam's corner by bringing sincerity and hard-edged humor to the role. And Russo-Young embraces girl culture without condescending to it." - 03/01/2017 Rolling Stone

"Russo-Young gives the transition tonal polish, and Deutch gets able assists from Jennifer Beals as her mom and Liv Hewson as a sardonically standoffish gay classmate." - 03/02/2017 Boston Globe

"Deutch gives us a character to root for. It’s a strong performance in a movie that sneaks up on you, and wins you over." - 03/02/2017 Chicago Sun-Times

"[T]his confident, tonally on-point adaptation of Lauren Oliver’s 2010 young-adult novel manages to carve out territory all its own..." - 03/02/2017 Washington Post
