4.5 stars out of 5 -- "[T]he malfeasance on display here is a top-down situation, and you soon realize that this isn’t a look at one horrific incident so much as a portrait of metastasizing social rot." - 11/23/2020 Rolling Stone

"Nanau refuses to regard the uncovering of wrongdoing as an achievement in itself; he constructs his film from interwoven strands which offer a broader perspective..." - 12/01/2020 Sight and Sound

"[A] portrait of institutional corruption and journalistic acumen that could hardly feel more devastatingly of the moment." - 12/11/2020 Los Angeles Times
