If you've ever felt othered, lost, different, or otherwise hurt by the mechanisms of today, Ms. d'Lunes poetry may speak to you.
In "The Journey", a series of poems, a lone traveler who diverges from the path they find themselves on, only to find themselves.
One of her earliest published poems, 'I Watched Through Windows' she documents how it felt to go through life basically on autopilot. Watching things occur, never really feeling like she was an active participant.
In "Apologies and Farewell" she apologises to her younger selves that could not be and says farewell to both the one was and the future self that would never happen.
In the poem 'Never Again' it chronicles how those two words 'Never Again', in respect to certain actions against any peoples group seem to have run hollow for the past 80 or so years. A follow-up of this particular poem 'Mark My Words' chronicles the lost from the very first time the world 'agreed' "Never Again" You'll also find musings about loss, grief, rediscovery and more.
Some serious, some funny, and some that can only be described as 'gallows humour' (quite literally in the case of '13 steps')
