She is a research fellow at the Taiwan Research Institute and Director of the Institute of History and Literature at Beijing Union University, where she also serves as a master's supervisor. Her primary research areas include modern and contemporary Chinese history, as well as the history and culture of Taiwan. She has led multiple projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China and various provincial and ministerial-level research grants. She has taught courses such as Modern Chinese History, Contemporary Chinese History, History and Culture of Taiwan, and Famous Figures of the Republic of China in Taiwan. She has published over 30 papers in academic journals and newspapers including Journal of Historical Science, Confucius Studies, People's Daily Overseas Edition, and People's Tribune.
