Overview
I heartily endorse this book for its depth of insight from the Holy Scriptures relevant to the subjects of addiction and demonology. The author not only has a clear grasp of truth, which comes from loving God and knowing His Word intimately, but also from the personal work of breaking free from addiction to drugs and uprooting deeply buried emotional lies and a false identity after being divinely delivered from demonic possession. His persistence in receiving Christian counsel and journaling to exchange lies for truth has brought personal freedom and a new identity in Christ. God has been pleased to give Cochnauer insights and wisdom where once there was blindness and deception. I can personally attest to this radical change in his life because I was his counselor.

I have known Paul, who has escaped the kingdom of darkness, and I endorse his book, on which he has expounded, and this book will be of great benefit for those who read it.

This book conveys spiritual warfare throughout history. It started in the garden with Eve communing with Satan himself through the serpent, which yielded itself as a willful participant. This act was the one-two punch Satan uses on believers and unbelievers alike-first, casting doubt upon the Word of God, and second, leading to an outright denial of what he has promised. I have seen this over the years-Satan casts doubt on the Word, and then he works to complete an outright denial, which is unbelief. That's why unbelief is so detrimental: it's rooted in lying divinations of Satan's kingdom, and their major assault is on the "Word of God."
