The Crystal Gate : A Trans-Psychoanalytic Ontology of Mind
Overview
If a tree falls in a forest with no one there to hear it, does it make a sound? The tree undoubtedly generates vibrations or mechanical waves propagating through the air; but until they reach a mind, they are not perceived as sound. Similarly, in the Observer Effect, do quantum waves respond to observation and measurement by collapsing into definite, quantized states as particles? How can something so immaterial and phenomenal such as thoughts, emotions/feelings, ideas, ideals, experiences and mental states arise from a material and physical system such as the brain? What, then, is the relationship between mind and matter, between the physical world and the mental world? There is an answer, and the answer is a strange loop. An explanation to the 'Hard Problem of Consciousness', directed by a method of 'Causal-Reductive Monism'. In order to solve the 'Mind-Body Problem', you have to break down the nature of causality, which requires a reduction in self and time. How meaning functions is how systems organize themselves towards awareness. Nature is simple by nature. However, when it loses itself to complexity; that is the threshold where it becomes conscious and from conscious, self-aware. A local field potential that is manifested, like the explosion that gave rise to the universe. Every possibility of an electron, delineated. Every birth of awareness, is a fundamental and personal act of creation. And time is of the essence, the essence of all matter; for all that matters is time. Remember me not as an image lost in time, but as the essence of all things lost in its translation. "The Crystal Gate" is a depiction of a star-tetrahedral time crystal and the symbol of 'Causal-Reductive Monism'. Causal-Reductive Monism is a method of dissolving the ontological gap between mind and matter by reducing the constructs of self and time. 'The Crystal Gate: A Trans-Psychoanalytic Ontology of Mind', delineates the self to the dynamic interaction between an illusory loop of subject-object identity, and tears apart linear time into a deterministic interconnected singularity, where emergence is a property of conscious perception. It further uses the subject-object polarity, to devise a complex web of interactions with representations to solve the 'Mind-Body Problem' and 'Hard Problem of Consciousness'. A new model of gravity is thus proposed. The conclusion aligns perfectly with Vedanta Monistic Idealism, and integrates Analytic Psychology with Orchestrated Objective Reduction.
