The Cult of the Sea Goddess
Overview
Pierre Lebleu has never fit in. Born in a storm in a swamp witch's cabin, he's grown up feeling out of place, an easy target for bullies and invisible to the girls he likes. When his school relocates classes to his father's cruise ship, Pierre hopes the open ocean might offer a fresh start. Instead, it awakens something watching him. As the ship sails toward the Bahamas, Pierre becomes the target of faceless attacks and encounters with corpse-like figures that no one else seems to see. Beneath the sun-soaked beaches and tourist smiles, a secret cult is moving in the shadows. Then there's the friendly but mysterious tour guide Mr. Thomas, who seems to command fear and respect from the locals. Pulled into a hidden world of haunted islands, restless spirits, and dangerous gods, Pierre and his friends must uncover the truth before the cult completes its ritual, and before the sea claims him as its own. At sea, the world is bigger, darker, and far more magical than Pierre ever imagined. And once you cross into it, there's no going back.
