Music Reviews
Editorial Reviews
Rolling Stone (p.74) - 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "'I Am for Real' sets echo-chamber guitar grind to a disco throb..."
CMJ - "Parker Gispert and his group continues its raw approach, relying on hard-hitting guitars, thumping basslines and sneering lyrics to maintain a classic aesthetic."
Billboard (p.32) - "[T]he group doesn't forsake its Georgian roots -- on the bluesy 'Dying,' Gispert delivers his vocals with a hint of Southern twang."
Paste (magazine) (p.59) - "The Whigs still break some guitar strings and drumheads along the way, but there's a wider range of textures and tones here..."
