Overview
About the Book
"The hardest battle is the one between what you know and what you feel."
What if the love you're running from is the only thing that can truly set you free?
Jia Kashyap, a spirited college student with dreams as vast as the sky, leaves her hometown behind to chase a new life in the States, ready to embrace her life. But is it ever that easy?
Vikrant Singhania is a storm wrapped in calm-powerful, relentless. A young, driven businessman, he's built a life where nothing distracts him-until he met Jia. She wasn't the first girl he met, but she was the first one who made him question everything he believed in. No matter how far she runs, his pull is a gravity she cannot escape.
This love is no ordinary tale-it's a clash of innocence and experience, freedom and devotion, youth and wisdom.
Will Jia find the strength to escape the forever she once pictured with Vikrant, or will his grip on her heart prove too strong? And when the past resurfaces, will their love survive the storm, or will it burn them both to the ground?
About the Author
Jinia Mallick is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Economics and Finance, originally from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. A storyteller at heart, Jinia discovered her love for writing early in life-through journals, poems, and short stories that helped her make sense of the world and the emotions that come with growing up.
Echoes of Us is her debut novel-a tender and deeply personal story about love, loss, and finding the courage to heal. Though she never imagined becoming a published author, a special person's unwavering belief in her talent gave her the push to share her words with the world.
As a writer drawn to emotional depth and real human connections, Jinia hopes to speak to the hearts of young adults navigating love and self-discovery.
"Sometimes, all it takes is one person to believe in your story for you to finally start telling it yourself."
