Eight Eyes
Overview
IN 1983, THE NIGHT HAS EIGHT EYES.
At first, they just called it a bad summer.
A farmer, gone. A waitress, found at the tree line and barely recognizable. In Caddo Bend - two thousand souls and miles of dark in every direction - people are learning to fear the space between the porch light and the barn door.
Something is out there. It hunts after dark, fast and low on eight legs, its eyes burning green in the beam of a flashlight. And it is still growing.
A worn-down sheriff. A scientist with an answer nobody wants. Three ordinary people with nothing left to lose. One long night to end it - with shotguns, gasoline, and whatever nerve they can hold on to.
Lock the doors. Kill the lights.
And pray it isn't already looking back.
