It also gives the reader an insight on the knowledge, attitudes and practices of Somali people. The message in it is that every essay retains in the minds of the readers a sense of urgency and a need for action. Cry for Help is an expression of a battle not yet lost and reflects hope of salvaging what is left of the Somali environment. It is also woven with traditional knowledge, philosophy and spirituality. It's authenticity derives from a keen appreciation of the deeply rooted oral culture, the spirit and the wit of a proud, poetic, pastoral community. It also contains 22 beautiful plates on the various aspects of the Somali environment. Environment in Crisis is a must-read for those interested to learn or know about the state of Somali environment.", "item_img_path" : "https://covers4.booksamillion.com/covers/bam/8/79/952/085/8799520850_b.jpg", "price_data" : { "retail_price" : "17.88", "online_price" : "17.88", "our_price" : "17.88", "club_price" : "17.88", "savings_pct" : "0", "savings_amt" : "0.00", "club_savings_pct" : "0", "club_savings_amt" : "0.00", "discount_pct" : "10", "store_price" : "" } }
