Overview
A London P.I. investigates the disappearance of a young woman with ties to an underground cult and finds himself at the center of a doomsday plot Arlo Abbas has never shied away from a challenge. As a private investigator in London with a complicated past, he doesn't have that luxury. But when he finds 10,000 deposited into his nearly empty bank account and a note stuffed in his mailbox that says "Find Sophie Banik," he realizes this is no ordinary missing-persons case. Sophie, he learns, was murdered five months earlier. Just as unsettling, he uncovers evidence that disturbing experiments are being performed on people that blur the lines between life and death. Abbas begins to see that what he is confronting is part cult, part horrific scientific manipulation, and that to get at the truth, he must look deeper: into the people involved, into himself, and even into the literal face of evil. In Exhumation, Nicholas Binge has written an edge-of-your-seat speculative thriller that's also a gripping exploration of fanatacism, mythology, and morality. A psychological journey through grief and generational trauma, Exhumation explores our human impulse to bury secrets to survive and how the path to revealing the truth can be both painful and redemptive.
