During this period the artist spent a significant amount of time rebuilding a 1957 Stearling travel trailer and using it as a mobile studio space in which to work on art projects. The text for this project is essentially a group of very short anecdotes typed with an old typewriter. All of the edits and imperfections in the texts were deliberately left in the book to embrace the informal journal-like quality of the project. Many of the illustrations in this book are very small pen and ink paintings merely a few inches in size. These originals were created using layers of handmade paper varnished together, giving these pieces a dream-like vinete that alludes to the idea of faded memories. When all of this content was brought together to create the book Home, it was organized more in the spirit of a curated exhibition of writing and illustrations only loosely linear but emblematic of a period in time and style shift in the artists production.
