Music Reviews
Editorial Reviews
Rolling Stone - 4 stars out of 5 -- "[T]hat seesaw of antique blues and modern artifice sums up this album's perfect storm - the raw fear of time running out and darkness closing in, rendered in pop beats and colors."
Rolling Stone - Included in Rolling Stone's "The 50 Best Albums of 2019" -- "[A]n album that captures the raw fear of time running out and darkness closing in, rendered in pop beats and colors."
NME (Magazine) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "Beck is the master of unpredictability and has, since his debut, experimented with all manner of styles, including lo-fi, rock, funk, pop and folk. Here, he pushes that unpredictability to its very limit..."
Clash (Magazine) - "[I]t's a glittering, multi-sensory synth-pop record that compels you to let yourself be transported through cosmic dimensions and the rich, textured under-layers of Beck's creative psyche."
