For the purpose of analysis, the period of the study has been divided into two parts i.e. first sub-period from 2004-05 to 2010-11 and second sub-period from 2011-12 to 2017-18. The study used the independent and dependent variable to know the impact of the FDI on productivity and profitability of the selected private sector banks. In this study, Foreign Direct Investment, Staff and Expenditures are taken as the independent variables; productivity and profitability are the dependent variables.
