Overview
This work is an abridged Greek translation of selected book chapters and articles about James DeMeo's work and discovery on "Saharasia". The full Saharasia book is presently available only in the original 465-page English edition, describing a series of new discoveries on the origins of human violence and warfare, and associated-correlated cultural characteristics. It is a warning to the world about the violent cultural make-up of the peoples who today live across the large Saharasian Desert Belt, and how that region converted from a green to a hyperarid desert landscape. Lessons are found for both ancient and modern cultures on the dangers of severe drought, desertification and climate change in shaping social and cultural institutions, and human behavior. This summary work is in the Greek language.
