Justice Rides a Black Horse
Overview
HORSES AND DEATH After moving from a Kansas farm to the beautiful Washoe Valley in the Nevada Territory, Dan and Susan Mason established a reputable horse ranch, raising their 16 year old son, Mark, along the way . It was a peaceful and happy life until a black clad rider rode into their yard on an exhausted black stallion, looking for a mount. Within minutes, Mark witnessed the death of his parents and was nearly killed himself. Afterward, Mark was determined to hunt down the man in black but, his intentions were frustrated when it was reported the gunman had been killed by a bounty hunter. Reluctantly accepting the report, he nursed the black horse back to health and took over running the ranch. However, the circumstances of the outlaw's death leave him with a nagging suspicion the report could be wrong. When he and his friend Rope travel to Cheyenne to look at a brood mare for the stallion, they discover the man is definitely alive and a powerful figure in that community. Together, they devise a plan to bring the murderer to them, but things don't go as planned and they soon find themselves fighting for their lives.
