Editorial Reviews
Spin - 3.5 stars out of 5 -- "Above the squalling guitar, McCaughan's forever-young yelp remains Superchunk's most distinctive feature, and he can still issue a call to arms."
Uncut (p.102) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "Listening to the ramalama of 'Slow Drip' and 'Hot Tubes' you can't help but cheer them on."
Alternative Press (p.117) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "[V]intage, fiery 'chunk. McCaughan's cartoonish, nasally yelp slips between guitar riffs laced with crunchy distortion..."
Mojo (Publisher) (p.108) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "11 astoundingly catchy, adrenalised twin-guitar anthems."
Pitchfork (Website) - "[T]hey've made a total wheelhouse record, and a good one. The same qualities that make MAJESTY SHREDDING sound perfectly at home in Superchunk's discography also make it stand out in today's climate..."
