Movie Reviews
Synopsis:
Comedy about a surgeon who falls in love with a disembodied brain(!). He wants to find a home (in other words, a body) for it, and so he decides to use that of his gorgeous, but despicable wife.
Reviews:
"...Martin comes a little closer to finding a film format that suits his endearingly brazen and whimsical talent....[He] radiates his own weird blend of confidence and humor..." - 06/03/1983 New York Times, p.C8
"...Fitfully amusing....Martin delivers all that's expected of him as a performer, and Turner is a sizzling foil for his comic and pent-up sexual energy..." - 06/01/1983 Variety
"When Turner and Martin let fly at each other it's a joy..." - 02/01/2006 Uncut, p.105
"Mr. Martin has often been sublimely silly....But nothing tops the moment in this one when he takes an acrobatic sobriety test on a German autobahn." - 04/17/2014 Wall Street Journal
