Overview
This book is about getting in shape. It shows how anyone can take control of their weight, health and appearance, without having to become an Instagram personality or full-time health freak. In reality, managing weight and health is actually very simple. Transforming only takes a few months, and maintaining the new body can be just as pleasurable as getting the results in the first place. As the book says: "Managing weight and health isn't about always starving." However, these universal, simple principles seem to get less and less attention by each passing day. The most valuable knowledge is hidden under a swamp of complexity and irrelevant information. That's why a lot of good people suffer, needlessly-because they don't know how to manage their bodies. Not being able to decide the fate of one's own body not only leads to physical side effects (weight gain, sickness, etc.), but more so, to psychological ones. I've seen depression take a firmer and firmer hold of someone that's been bullied because of their appearance. I've seen poor health rob a man of his best years. Those are some of the reasons I felt this book had to be created. Anyone can be in control of their weight, health and appearance. It doesn't matter too much to me if this statement comes off as unrealistic. The principles taught in this book have already worked for men and women in their twenties, thirties and fifties. I also use them myself since many years back. Learning how to control the way you look and feel gives a sense of confidence, independence and self-worth. Moving towards this sense of control is what this book is ultimately about.
