The nationally-recognized Orange County High School of the Arts began 20 years ago with 125 students and a total operating budget of $190,000 and is now thriving with more than 1,300 students and a total operating budget of $12 million. Established in 1987 as an after-school arts program, the school is now located in the heart of the Orange County arts scene and is the place for aspiring young artists to excel in one of 11 arts conservatory programs.
